Spring Cleaning for the Face?

Keihl's

And another Must Have Monday to catch us up to this week!

Like all good rituals, when spring time hits, I realize what a toll my skin has taken over the strange winters in Los Angeles and I need to clean house.  I am still not 100% acclimated to the dry LA winters coming from Spokane, Wa where it is always snowy, and then Seattle, WA where it is always damp.  This brings me to my point.  My skin has been shouting, “SOS!!!!”  I needed a re-boot, and thought about getting back to my roots.  I worked with Keihl’s ages ago, and really love the integrity of the brand, as well as the mostly natural ingredients.  One of my favourite products back then was the Keihl’s Pineapple and Papaya Face Scrub.  Fast forward to this week when I decided to start using it again.

Love at first contact.  This product is a serious life saver.  Wow.  I love that it is an enzyme based scrub, and less “physical” (gritty) for those of us with sensitive skin.  I recommend this product for those with acne, dry skin, oily skin, the like, as it is a gentle peel that gets rid of dead skin, and shows off newly regenerated skin cells.

Here is how to use.

1. Clean your face

2. On damp skin, apply a generous amount

3. With gentle circular motions, coat the face

4. Allow to sit and just let the enzymes do their thing

5. Gently rinse away

6. Follow up with skin treatment regime

I am noticing a HUGE difference in my skin, and wanted to shout it out!  Go to your nearest Nordstrom, and ask for a sample if you’re hesitant to purchase before you try.   I hope that you love this product as much as I do.

Happy New Skin!

Love and Beauty,

E
